Research Overview
The Okamoto group creates novel π-conjugated molecules and their assemblies with unique electronic, optical, and magnetic functions. We seek to understand their fundamental science and, using our original molecular designs, innovate in solution and single-crystal growth technologies. Our mission is to apply these advancements to develop sustainable, next-generation electronics that benefit society.
岡本研究室では、電子・光・磁気機能などを付与した新奇なπ電子系分子およびその分子集合体の創製と、それらのサイエンスの解明に取り組んでいます。独自の分子で、塗布結晶化および単結晶化技術の革新と環境低負荷な次世代エレクトロニクスへの応用展開に挑戦し、社会に貢献します。
